Gary Eldon Grass of Bend died Tuesday. He was 64.

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Niswonger-Reynolds Chapel in Bend.

Mr. Grass was born July 9, 1941, in Bend to Harold and Harriet (Petersen) Grass. He worked for Ken Cale Appliance, McMahan's Furniture and Appliance, Oak Unlimited and, most recently, Aasland's Fine Furniture. He was a member of the NRA, the Oregon Hunters Association and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, boating and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his former wife, Joyce Brown of Seattle; a son, Richard of Turner; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
