Zelma Margarette (Bailey) Wallace of Bend died Wednesday of natural causes. She was 88. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. March 10 at Grace Community Church in Bend.
Mrs. Wallace was born July 7, 1913, in Junction City to James and Pearl (Beck) Bailey. She married Thomas Wallace on July 3, 1931, in Springfield.
She moved to Alfalfa in January 1944 and was a farmer.
Mrs. Wallace was affiliated with the Grace Community Church in Bend. She was active with the Alfalfa Grange and Home Extension Program.
Survivors include her four sons, Donald of Brothers, Carl, James and Thomas, all three of Bend; a daughter, Yvonne Katter of Bend; a brother, Merle Bailey of Redmond; 18 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Grace Community Church Memorial Fund.

Harry Leo Bonner of Marysville, Washington, died Saturday in Everett, Washington. He was 88. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Greenwood Cemetery in Bend.
Mr. Bonner was born Feb. 20, 1912, in Moselle, Mississippi, to William and Ella (Sellers) Bonner. He married Gracie Irene Whatley in January of 1933. She died in 1987.
Mr. Bonner's livelihoods were farming and logging.
He moved his family to Oregon in 1950. After the death of his wife he made his home in Washington.
Mr. Bonner enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, cooking and traveling between Mississippi, Oregon and Washington visiting his children.
Survivors include five sons, Melvin of Crescent; Roy of Marysville, Wash., James of Mississippi, Calvin of Camano Island, Wash., Charles of Everett, Wash.; two daughters, Ella McCaul of Eugene and Earlene Churchwell of Lucedale, Miss.; 25 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, a son, two daughters and three grandchildren.
Solie Funeral Home in Everett, Wash., is in charge of arrangements.

Lois Ann (Bru) Olson of Bend died Tuesday of natural causes. She was 82. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Olson was born July 12, 1919, in Buena Vista County, S.D. She married Theodore Olson on May 18, 1941, in Honolulu, Hawaii.
She worked for the Censorship Bureau in Hawaii during World War II. She was a school teacher in San Bernardino, Calif. before retiring in 1971 and moving to Bend.
Mrs. Olson was affiliated with the St. Charles Hospital Auxiliary, Garden Grove Lutheran Church and Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her two daughters, Mary Deegan of Bend and Elizabeth Stewart of Davis, Calif.; one sister, Vera Bru of Woodland, Calif.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers and three sisters.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Bend La Pine, 1303 NW Galveston Ave., Bend 97701.
