This is one of the largest gravestones in the Terrebonne Pioneer Cemetery. The pictures on the pedestal are of a ball, bat and glove and cowboy boots and hat. Small toys sit around the angel and in the angels lap.

Harley "Hod" McKay of Prineville died December 31, 2000 of natural causes. He was 84.
Mr. McKay was born Jan. 22, 1916, in Roseburg.
He worked as a ranch hand, handyman and was a custodian at Central Washington University.
He married Blanche Philippi on April 11, 1980, in Redmond. They lived in Prineville for 17 years.
Mr. McKay was a member of Nazarene Church in Prineville.
He enjoyed horses and attending rodeos.
His survivors are:

Daughter - Mary Ann Justensen of Grass Valley
Three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Herminio Garcia Cacho of Terrebonne died on June 24, 2005. He was 70.
Mr. Cacho was born Feb. 16, 1935, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, to Aurelio Garcia and Cliotilde Cacho. He married Maria Cacho on Feb. 26, 1966. He grew up in Mexico and moved to Eagle Point when he was 18.
He worked for Southern Oregon Tallow for several years, and later worked for Redmond Rendering Plant for 21 years. He retired in 2000.
He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
His survivors are:

Daughters - Lisa Toledo and Teresa Gonzalez, both of Prineville, and Risa Toledo of Terrebonne

She was born Dec. 30, 1919, in Ellijay, North Carolina. Her parents were James and Peggy (Gregory) Ammons. She married Fred Price on Jan. 25, 1937, in Speedwell, N.C.
Mrs. Price was on of the founders of the Smith Rocks Community Church in Redmond. She worked as a caregiver in the residential home at the Opportunity Center in Redmond for many years. She enjoyed gardening and camping.
Her survivors are:
