Bryce 'Buddy Boy' Rolland Miller - March 6, 1984 - July 26, 2003
Bryce "Buddy Boy" Rolland Miller of Culver died July 26 in a drowning accident in Australia. He was 19. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday at the Deschutes County Fair & Expo Center in the South Sisters Pavilion.
Mr. Miller was born on March 6, 1984, in Redmond to Bruce and Alma (Bebb) Miller. He graduated from Culver High School in 2002.
He enlisted in the Marines after high school and held the rank of lance corporal at the time of the accident.
Mr. Miller was a member of the Culver High School wrestling team.
He loved his family and the Marine Corps. He enjoyed hunting, hiking, skiing and swimming. He also enjoyed paintball wars and driving his truck.
Survivors include his parents of Culver; a brother, Ross of Culver; a grandfather, Ray Bebb of Culver; and a grandmother, Evelyn Adams of Prineville.
He was preceded in death by a grandmother and a grandfather.
A memorial fund is being established. Redmond Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Bryce Miller, 19, a 2002 Culver High School graduate and a champion wrestler, died in 2003 while swimming in Australia, where he was training with the Marines.
On a small hill in Section 2 of Greenwood Cemetery, you will find a crypt for the Miller family. It is currently the resting place of Bryce Miller. It is the future resting place of his parents, Bruce and Alma Miller. It holds a bench for his grandfather Ray C Beeb.
