A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. April 7 at Greenwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Parker was born March 27, 1923, in Rosholt, S.D., to Louis and Selma Selken. She graduated from Bend High School in 1941. She married Walter Parker on Nov. 28, 1953, at First Lutheran Church in Bend.
Mrs. Parker was primarily a homemaker. After high school, she worked at Newberry's Variety Store and Moty-Van Dyke Company, both in downtown Bend. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Bend. She enjoyed gardening, camping and spending time with family and friends. She moved to Bend in 1936 but moved throughout the state for her husband's job with the Forest Service. They returned to Bend in 1985.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Tom, of Bend, and Ted, of La Pine; a daughter, Nancy Alvarez, of Bend; a sister, Colleen Frey, of Portland; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Memorial contributions may be made to Grace First Lutheran Memorial Fund in Bend.
