James Lewis Winslow of Bend died Wednesday. He was 58.

The memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Spiritual Awareness Center in Bend.

Mr. Winslow was born May 12, 1942, in Bend, to Dick and Elizabeth Winslow. He graduated from Bend High School in 1960 and was a lifelong resident of Bend.

He worked for Brooks Scanlon and DAW for 29 years. He also worked for Bend Millworks, Oregon Woodworking, and for Owl Taxi and Crew Shuttle Service.

He married Jeanne Lisenbury on July 21, 1979, in Reno, Nev.

Mr. Winslow enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodcutting and card playing.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanne of Bend; one son, Andy, and one daughter, Lori Bechtel, both of Salem; two stepdaughters, Erin Tipton of Bend and Amanda Gagnier of Montana; three stepsons, Mike and Eric Liskh, both of Bend and Joe Liskh of Newport; his mother, Elizabeth of Corvallis; two sisters, Alberta of Corvallis and Barbara Grover of Baker City; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Autumn Funerals is in charge of arrangements.
