Laura Jane Brockelman of Bend died Monday of natural causes. She was 76.
A viewing will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, at Niswonger, Reynolds Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 12, at the Niswonger, Reynolds Chapel.
Ms. Brockelman was born Jan. 13, 1928, in Hartford, Kan., to Carl and Elsie (Carpenter) Lauderback.
She was a homemaker and member of the Eagles Lodge in Bend.
Ms. Brockelman enjoyed dancing, playing board games, movies, antiques, exercising, walking and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her two sons, Steven Gage of Salem and Bradley of San Antonio, Texas; three daughters, Carolyn Ryden of Oklahoma, Sandra Torres of Tacoma, Wash., and Janice Daniel of Bend; two brothers, Don Lauderback of San Diego and Jerry Lauderback of Kansas; a sister, Shirley Burnheide of Dangerfield, Texas; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister and her parents.
Niswonger, Reynolds Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
