Grandview Cemetery - Grandview, Oregon

Grandview Cemetery
also known as Geneva Cemetery
Located near the former towns of Grandview and Geneva in Jefferson County, Oregon
Currently maintained by family members of the pioneers who are buried here and continue to be.

We had gone out for a drive when we found the cemetery - quite by accident - and I quickly took pictures of the graves.  Some have too many shadows.  It is truly out in the middle of nowhere, so I knew it would be a long time before we returned.  It is maintained with loving care.  The only evidence of visitors are the many deer prints.

I am currently looking for more information about Geneva and Grandview.
This is hard country and the farms have been abandoned and it is doubtful that any of the homesteads remain.  But, you have to admire them for tackling this country and raising their families here, and for being an integral part of the society here.
