Brian Reynolds, of Portland, died Thursday of cancer. He was 46.  A visitation will be held from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Mt. Scott Funeral Home in Portland.  A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the World Forestry Center’s Miller Hall in Portland.

Mr. Reynolds was born Nov. 4, 1961, in Bend, the son of Paul and Ann Reynolds. He graduated from Mountain View High School.

He earned a business degree from Oregon State University. He married Gail Shepard on Aug. 22, 1981, in Bend.

Mr. Reynolds was a chief financial officer.

He was affiliated with the Bicycle Transportation Alliance. He enjoyed bicycling and previously participated in Cycle Oregon.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Valerie, of Los Angeles; his parents, of Crystal Bay, Nev.; and two brothers, Mark, of Bend, and Bruce, of Baltimore.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bicycle Transportation Alliance or the American Lung Association.

Mt. Scott Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
