Hazel J. (Kulstad) Munkers of Tigard died Tuesday. She was 88. A memorial service will be held Tuesday at Young's Funeral Home in Tigard at 11 a.m.
Mrs. Munkers was born April 15, 1913 in Missoula, Mont. She married Melvin Munkers.
She worked as a homemaker and enjoyed playing bridge and helping out at her church.
She was a Lady Elk and affiliated with Bend Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Munkers lived in Bend for more than 80 years before moving to Tigard in 1998. Survivors include her two daughters Jan Patterson and Carolyn Evers, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
Young's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
