"Sad Hill - Tread Softly"
The Paulina Pioneer Cemetery or Breese Cemetery
sits high on a hill above the Paulina Prairie.
It is unknown how many have been buried here over the years
or who they are.
A few are identified and the names and stories have been identified.
The West has many of these old Pioneer cemeteries - most unknown.
Recently, a scout did a restoration project here.
The headstones and the fencing of the graves were done by others.
