Mrs. Fouts was born May 24, 1921, in Crabtree to Henry and Sarah (Hannon) Clark. She graduated from high school in Tigard in 1939. She married Robert Modrell in 1941. She later married Wes Fouts in 1958.
Mrs. Fouts worked for Sears in Eugene for more than 20 years. She also worked for the Emporium in Bend for many years. She enjoyed painting, sewing, interior decorating and gardening.
Her survivors include:
Son, Steve Modrell of Firestone, Colorado
Daughter, Penny Tomseth of Redmond
Sisters, Marjorie Anderson of Lincoln City and LouAnn Armstrong of Santa Fe Springs, California
five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both husbands.

Mrs. Hoffman was born Sept. 18, 1942, in Indianapolis to Henry and Irma Wagner. She married Willis Hoffman.
Mrs. Hoffman worked in data entry for Central Oregon Community College Redmond Campus.
She enjoyed sewing, computers and socializing. She lived in Redmond for 10 years.
Her survivors include:

Son, Christopher, of Germany
and three grandchildren.

Merle M. Bailey of Redmond died June 21, 2002 of natural causes. He was 80.
A private service will be held.
Mr. Bailey was born July 23, 1921, in Eugene to James and Pearl (Beck) Bailey. He married Mildred on Aug. 6, 1946, in Redmond.
He served in the Navy during World War II and was honorably discharged in 1946.
Mr. Bailey was a distributor for Union Oil for 34 years. He retired in 1981.
He was affiliated with the VFW Post No. 4108.
Mr. Bailey enjoyed fishing, hunting, animals and scenic drives to The Dalles and the Columbia Gorge.

Survivors include his wife of Redmond.

Floyd Edward Totten, of Bend, died May 13, 2007. He was 79.
No services are planned.
Mr. Totten was born Sept. 30, 1927, in Shidler, Oklahoma, to Clarence and Ottie (Bryant) Totten. He graduated from high school in Oklahoma in 1945. He married Modean Seaborn on March 6, 1954, in Oklahoma City.
Mr. Totten served as a paratrooper in the 11th Airborne Division in the U.S. Army during World War II in Japan. He worked for Bonneville Power Administration. He and his wife cared for a mentally disabled woman, Cookie, for 17 years. He was a member of Forest Avenue Baptist Church and enjoyed ranching, riding horses and spending time with his grandchildren. He lived in Terrebonne from 1967 until he moved to Bend three years ago.
His survivors include:

Stepson, Sonny
Adopted daughter, Tammy
and a brother, a sister and numerous grandchildren.

Davis served in Africa with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was employed by Weyerhaeuser for 31 years. He enjoyed camping, woodworking and building things.
Survivors include his wife; a sister, Juanita McCoy of Mena; two brothers, G.W. of Knights Landing, Calif., and Charlie of Roseville, Calif.
Monday's service will be at 10 a.m. at Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel in Cottage Grove. Burial will be in Pioneer Cemetery in Terrebonne.

A visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Friday. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Powell Butte Community Center.
Mrs. Ramey was born April 5, 1938, in Ship Bottom, New Jersey, the daughter of Eric and Irene Peddle. She married Orval Ramey on Nov. 6, 1953.
Mrs. Ramey worked for Kmart in Bend for 14 years, retiring in 1996. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She moved to Central Oregon in 1976.
Her survivors include:

Daughter, Suzette, of Seattle
