Floyd Edward Totten, of Bend, died May 13, 2007. He was 79.
No services are planned.
Mr. Totten was born Sept. 30, 1927, in Shidler, Oklahoma, to Clarence and Ottie (Bryant) Totten. He graduated from high school in Oklahoma in 1945. He married Modean Seaborn on March 6, 1954, in Oklahoma City.
Mr. Totten served as a paratrooper in the 11th Airborne Division in the U.S. Army during World War II in Japan. He worked for Bonneville Power Administration. He and his wife cared for a mentally disabled woman, Cookie, for 17 years. He was a member of Forest Avenue Baptist Church and enjoyed ranching, riding horses and spending time with his grandchildren. He lived in Terrebonne from 1967 until he moved to Bend three years ago.
His survivors include:
Adopted son, Danny
Stepson, Sonny
Adopted daughter, Tammy
and a brother, a sister and numerous grandchildren.
