Charles "Gus" Firch of Redmond died of natural causes. He was 64.

Mr. Firch was born Sept. 15, 1936, in Geneseo, Ill., to Victor G. and Drusilla (Breese) Firch.

He served in the Army and was stationed in Germany during the early 1960s.

After military service he ran a motorcycle shop, a tire company and a sawmill in the Klickitat area of Washington. He moved to Redmond in 1972 and worked for Whittier Moulding. He was employed at Brightwood as Head of Maintenance in Development and Research until his passing.

He married Marquita Lessard on Jan. 10, 1971, in Goldendale, Wash. Mr. Firch enjoyed fishing and hunting.

His survivors are:

Wife - Marquita of Redmond

Sons - Charles "Chucky" Firch Jr. and Alan Lessard of Redmond, and Greg Lessard of Tigard

Sisters - Janet Glover of Minnesota and Karen Rothermel of Goldendale, Washington

Three grandchildren.
