Jessie Mae (Bozarth) Williams of Redmond died July 4, 2002 of natural causes. She was 88.

Mrs. Williams was born Jan. 24, 1914, in Terrebonne to Anna (Terrell) and Sherrod Bozarth. She married William H. Williams on June 10, 1930, in Lone Pine. She lived in the area all her life.

She was a cook and worked at hospitals in Redmond, Bend and Madras. She also drove a school bus and cooked for the Lone Pine School.

She enjoyed visiting and spending time with friends and family.

Her survivors are:

Sons - Vernon of Wenatchee, Washington, and Bill and Ricky of Redmond, Oregon

Sisters - Florence of Prineville and Blanch Bodda of California

13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two brothers, one daughter and one granddaughter.
