WOW! This is my grandfather's grave. When I was a child, my grandmother, who raised my sister, brother and I, brought us here often. In fact, the trees planted on each side were just a few inches in height and purchased at christmas to decorate. He grew up in Los Angeles, but moved to Oregon for his love of fishing and brought his wife Irene, now deceased and four children. This was unexpected....
Here you will see the cemeteries I visit and be able to read the inscriptions on the gravestones and any additional information I have found. I want this to be a resource for people to find their loved ones, relatives and ancestors and to find genealogical information. This is a place for respect and for remembering. It is also a place for my musings and observations. If a family member would like a high resolution copy of any of the photos shown or would like to add to the posting of their family or friend with stories or photos, please email me or leave in comments. For my email link, click the 'view' link below.
Please use the search box at the top of the blog or here on the side bar to find posts on your family or friends who may be buried in the cemeteries I am transcribing.

ReplyDeleteThey just recently trimmed the tree branches so you could see his stone. I spend some time cleaning it up. I'm glad you found it.
