Claudia (Thom) Taylor Broughton of Prineville died Tuesday. She was 91.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Greenwood Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Claudia Broughton Room at the Crook County Library in Prineville.

Mrs. Broughton was born June 20, 1910, in Silver Lake. She married Dan Taylor in 1937 and married Bill Broughton in 1973.

She worked at the Crook County Library. She also taught at rural schools in Bend and Prineville.

Mrs. Broughton was a member of the Carnation Chapter of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her two daughters, Sally Smith of Bend and Danna Ridenour of Prineville; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first and second husbands, her parents and a sister.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Crook County Friends of the Library new book fund.
