Frances "Florence" A. Boardman of Redmond died Thursday. She was 86.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Episcopal Church in Bend, followed by a private graveside service.

Mrs. Boardman was born April 17, 1919, in Portland to Douglas E. and Jessie Florence. She attended Bend High School, graduated from Roseburg High and married Charles E. Boardman. She lived most of her adult life in Bend, where she raised her four children. She worked as a legal secretary and enjoyed singing and golf.

Survivors include a son, David of Gresham; and three daughters, the Rev. Robin A. Moore of Grapeview, Wash., Kathleen Patton of Redmond and Dr. Tamisn Looker of New York City; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her husband.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Central Oregon Hospice.
