'Loving Brother and Uncle'

George Henry Vaughan of Terrebonne died April 8, 2006. He was 80.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Terrebonne Pioneer Cemetery.

Mr. Vaughan was born June 9, 1925, in Springfield to John and Anna (Haynes) Vaughan. He served in the U.S. Army's Big Red One during the Korean War.

Mr. Vaughan worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 23 years. He helped the Terrebonne Ladies Pioneer Club. He enjoyed dogs, children, going to Las Vegas and helping his neighbors.

His survivors include:

Daughter, JoAnne Rambeau of Terrebonne

Brothers, Johnny of Yachats and Charles and Alebdias, both of Springfield

Sisters, Dorothy Hall of Portland, Marian Perry of Colton and June Nearing of San Francisco

three grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to his daughter, JoAnne Rambeau.

Niswonger-Reynolds Funeral Home, Redmond Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
