Winifred Irene Brix of Bend died December 16, 2001 of cancer. She was 59.

No service will be held.

Mrs. Brix was born October 17, 1942, in Oregon. She married Harold Brix in 1996 in Bend.

She worked for the Hood River News. She also worked as an office manager for the law firm of Fully and Hageson until retiring and moving to Bend in 1996. She and her husband worked as camp host for the Oregon State Parks Division at the Prineville Reservoir State Park.

Mrs. Brix enjoyed traveling. She and her husband traveled to the Panama Canal, Caribbean and Hawaii.

Her survivors include:

Husband, Harold, of Bend

Daughter, Kelly Bonate of Seattle

and a grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
