A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Greenwood Cemetery. A celebration of life will follow at 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Bend.
Mr. Plummer was born Oct. 27, 1913, in Florence, Kan., to Charlie and Minnie (Golay) Plummer. He served in the U.S. Army and was part of the European Campaign during World War II. He married Melba Burton on June 10, 1934, in Parkerville, Kan.
Mr. Plummer worked as a carpenter. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Robert Jr. of La Pine; twin daughters, Mary Crawford of Bend and Nancy Hammagren of Boise, Idaho; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
