Howard Gene Brown of Crooked River Ranch died October 17, 2004 of natural causes. He was 72.

A burial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 22, at the Terrebonne Pioneer Cemetery. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m., at the Dayspring Christian Center in Terrebonne.

Mr. Brown was born March 26, 1932, in Meridian, Idaho, to Otis D. And Opal (Amos) Brown. He married Alma Brown in 1950, in Redmond.

Mr. Brown was a millworker. He was a member of the Dayspring Christian Center, Crooked River Grange, Crooked River Senior Center and was a Boy Scout leader. He enjoyed camping, traveling, fishing, woodcarving, hunting and spending time with family and friends.

His survivors include:

Sons, Ron and Edward, both of Sunriver

Daughters, Bonnie and Cherie Brown, both of Crooked River Ranch

and one grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife and two brothers.
