Joan Mary Mills of Redmond died Monday of natural causes. She was 74.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Powell Butte Christian Church.

Mrs. Mills was born Nov. 30, 1931, in Bend to Earl and Mary (Marshall) Fuls. She graduated from Bend High School in 1949. She married Harold Mills in 1950 in Bend.

Mrs. Mills worked for US Bank in Bend and Redmond for 37 years. She retired in 2001. She was a charter member of the Sweet Adelines, a member of Powell Butte Christian Church, and was crafter and treasurer for The Lord's Acre.

Her survivors include:

Husband, Harold, of Redmond

Sons, John of Eugene and Dan of Redmond

Daughter, Mary Dennis of Redmond

Brother, Jack Fuls of Hillsboro

and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Bend-La Pine.
