Leroy "Lee" Joseph May of Bend died October 6, 2002 of natural causes. He was 81.
A private service will be held.
Mr. May was born Aug. 26, 1921, in Barton, Wisconsin.
He was a tool and dye maker. He also owned an import/export business and was a distributor of herbal remedies for the American Image Marketing Companies.
Mr. May taught polka dance at Bend Parks and Recreation and hosted the Sunday local radio show "Polka Party". He put on polka shows at hospitals and nursing homes and was a clown show at local malls and hospitals in the 1970's and 1980's.
His survivors include:
Sons, Leroy of Las Vegas, Dennis of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Gary of Reno, Neveda
Daughters Christine Roblee of Benecia, California and Beverly Caler of Riverside, California
Brothers, Robert and Gerald both of Wisconsin
and eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
