Raymond J. Hegardt of Bend died June 23, 2000 of natural causes. He was 63.
Family and friends will hold a potluck from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at 37 NE Craven Road, No. 1.
Mr. Hegardt was born April 26, 1937, in Redmond. He was a lifelong resident of Central Oregon. He worked as a truck driver.
He married Margaret McLaughin in 1997. He enjoyed fishing, making things and spending time with kids. He was a member of the Eagles and Moose organizations.
His survivors include:
Wife, Margaret
Sisters, Kathryn George of Bend and Patricia Gore of Banning, California
and eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the American Heart Association.
Niswonger, Reynolds & Tabor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
