Betty Q. Bishop of Prineville died Wednesday of natural causes. She was 79.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, at Prineville Christian Church.
Mrs. Bishop was born Aug. 28, 1924, in Harrisburg to Cecil and Bessie (Dykstra) Quimby. She grew up and attended school in Halsey and Harrisburg.
She married Elmer Anstine in 1943. On May 13, 1999, she married Harvey Bishop in Junction City.
Mrs. Bishop was a member of the Prineville Christian Church.
She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, fishing, camping and animals.
Her survivors include:
Husband, Harvey, of Prineville
Sisters, Enda Quimby of Portland and Linda Nelson of Chiloquin
Four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her son and brother.
