Ural Udel Marshall of Redmond died Wednesday of natural causes. He was 83.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 6, at Terrebonne Pioneer Cemetery.
Mr. Marshall was born Jan. 14, 1921, in Gateway to Robert and Emma (White) Marshall. He attended Lyle Gap Elementary School and Gateway school.
He served in the Army in the 43rd Signal Corps during World War II and served five campaigns in the South Pacific.
He married Catherine Carvell in 1948, in Portland.
Mr. Marshall worked as a railroad lineman in Spokane, Portland and Seattle. He later owned Culver Garage and Marshall's Garage in Redmond.
He enjoyed vegetable gardening, woodworking, metal working, fishing and hunting.
His survivors include:
Wife, Catherine, of Redmond
Sons, Daniel of Baker City, James of Gateway, David of Salem, Harvey of Redmond and Dennis of Redmond
Sisters, Iva Vibbert of Gateway, Edith McDaniel of Madras and Shirley Grant of Madras
and eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, parents, four brothers and a sister.
Autumn Funerals is in charge of arrangements.
