Future resting place of LeRoy McKinney
Wilma Ellen McKinney of Redmond died Monday of Lou Gehrig's Disease. She was 74.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Redmond Christian Church.
Mrs. McKinney was born Oct. 10, 1928, in Alhambra, Calif., to Omar and Ann (Cochran) Vrooman. She married LeRoy McKinney on Feb. 7, 1948, in Eugene. She moved to Redmond in 1998.
Mrs. McKinney enjoyed her family and practicing her faith. She also enjoyed flowers, gardening and rockhounding.
Her survivors include:
Husband, LeRoy, of Redmond
Daughter, Christine Farnsworth of Redmond
Brother, Jerry Vrooman of Washington, D.C.
Sisters, Phyllis Cerny of California and Betty Maxwell of Pendleton
and five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and her parents.
