Roberta "Sam" M. (Wallace) Moran of Redmond died March 22, 2002 of natural causes. She was 66.

A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Terrebonne Pioneer Cemetery.

Mrs. Moran was born Feb. 17, 1936, in New York City. She married Ed Moran in August 1971, in Las Vegas.

She was the owner and operator of the Hub and the Brand Restaurants. She also worked as a seamstress for MGM in the movie industry. She lived in Central Oregon from 1981 to 1991 and had moved back recently.

Her survivors include:

Husband, Ed of Redmond

Sons, James of Redmond and Edward Burza of Thousand Oaks, California

Daughters Jennifer of Thousand Oaks, California, and Jessica Henning of Del Norte, Colorado

and two grandchildren.

Redmond Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
