Warren L. Ramsay of Redmond died at a Redmond nursing center Saturday. He was 91.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Terrebonne Pioneer Cemetery.

Mr. Ramsay was born on April 22, 1909, in Joliet, Ill., to Albert Edward and Mae Etta (Trachman) Ramsay.

He married Esther Anne Moore in Glendale, Calif.

He was a pharmacist and owned and operated a drug store in Glendale. The couple moved to Oregon in 1955 and bought a Hawthorne Farms resort on the McKenzie River. They sold the resort in 1968 but he continued guiding until 1977 when they retired to Crooked River Ranch. In 1992 they moved to Redmond.

Mr. Ramsay was a member of the McKenzie Guides Association, Oregon Guides and Packers, Crooked River Lions Club and the Elks Club in Redmond.

He enjoyed guiding on the McKenzie, fishing and hunting.

His survivors include:

Wife, Esther of Redmond

Sons, Edward of Bend and Donald of Princeton

two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother and his parents.
