Bryan Walter Yeaple, of Crooked River Ranch, died January 1, 2007 of natural causes. He was 81.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Terrebonne Pioneer Cemetery. A reception will follow at Ranch Chapel in Crooked River Ranch.
Mr. Yeaple was born July 21, 1925, in Windom, Minnesota, to Harold and Grace (White) Yeaple. He married Mildred Ryan on April 5, 1951, in West Linn.
Mr. Yeaple served in the U.S. Army during World War II and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He worked as a high school custodian and in construction. He was a member of Ranch Chapel and West Linn Baptist Church. He enjoyed writing poetry, woodworking, singing, fishing and camping. He moved to Crooked River Ranch in 1996.
His survivors include:
Wife, Mildred
Son, Steven, of Crooked River Ranch
Daughters, Linda Olson, of Crooked River Ranch, and Susan Lanier, of Redmond
Sister, Phyllis Cooper, of West Linn
three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sons, a brother and two sisters.
Autumn Funerals of Redmond is in charge of arrangements.
