Kelly Peyton Warner, of Sisters, died June 15, 2006. She was 46.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sisters Community Church. A reception will follow.
Mrs. Warner was born October 13, 1959, in Hood River to Gene and Barbara Peyton. She attended David Douglas High School and was named to the All-American High School swim team six times and to the Big All-American Team twice. She attended the University of Oregon on a swimming scholarship. She married Kevin Warner on July 10, 1982, in Portland.
Mrs. Warner worked as a receptionist for Parr Lumber in Redmond. She enjoyed travel and animals, especially her cat and dogs.
Her survivors include:
Husband, Kevin
Stepsons, Jason and Blane
Parents, Gene & Barbara Payton
Sister, Debra Connor.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
Deschutes Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Kelly Peyton Warner, beloved wife of Kevin Warner, died June 15, 2006, at age 46. Kelly was born in Hood River, Oregon, but moved to Portland at age three. She joined the David Douglas Swim Team when she was five and had a successful career while swimming on the high school team and at the University of Oregon which she attended on a swimming scholarship. She was named to the All- American High School team six times and twice to the big All-American Team. She was awarded the Hayward Scholarship in 1977.
On July 10, 1984, Kelly married Kevin Warner. They reside in Sisters, Oregon, where Kelly worked for the Redmond Parr Lumber as a receptionist.
She had a passion for travel and loved to plan trips. Her other passion was her love for her animals. Her dogs, Chuck and Dave, and her cat, Hannah, were much loved members of her family.
Kelly is survived by her husband, Kevin; two stepsons, Jason and Blane; her parents, Gene and Barbara Peyton; her sister Debra (Jim) Connor; and aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her sister, Olympic Gold medalist, Kim Peyton McDonald.
She will be sorely missed by Kevin's large family. His mother, Kathleen, and his siblings Kathryn, Dawn, Shannon, Susan, Shawn, Brian, Lisa, Lori and Kristi who all loved her dearly.
