Morris Miller of Madras died September 9, 2004 of natural causes. He was 82.
A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., September 11 and 12, at Bel-Air Chapel in Madras. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., September 13, at Terrebonne Pioneer Cemetery.
Mr. Miller was born Aug. 10, 1922, in Cedar Glades, Arkansas, to John and Ruby (Philips) Miller. He married Clara Horner on June 4, 1956.
He served in the Navy during World War II.
Mr. Miller worked for Jefferson Plywood and bought Skyway Gas Station in 1959.
His survivors include:
Wife, clara
Stepson, Eddie Lowther of Redmond
Stepdaughter, Mary Raines of Madras
Sisters, Freda McAllister of Salem and Anna Lou Rose of Lake Charles, Louisiana
and four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a stepson, a brother and four sisters.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans, c/o American Legion #44 of Redmond.
Bel-Air Colonial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
