William 'Bill' Willis Chandler

William "Bill" Willis Chandler of Corvallis and Terrebonne died May 11, 2006 of natural causes. He was 80.
Mr. Chandler was born February 21, 1926, in Abilene, Texas, to James and Maudie (Inman) Chandler. He married Lora M. Williams on January 1, 1951, in Lakeview.
Mr. Chandler worked as a maintenance sergeant for the U.S. Army until he retired in 1973. He was affiliated with the Church of God. He enjoyed traveling and visiting family and friends.
His survivors include:

Sons, Ronald of Portland, Robert of Indianapolis, Indiana, Paul of Alexandria, Virginia, William of Springfield and Richard of Corvallis
Daughter, Gail Sams of Portland
Brothers, James of Nampa, Idaho, Dale of Terrebonne, Donald of Sacramento, California, John of Prineville, George of San Diego, California, Richard of Darlington, Idaho, Kenneth of Kelso, Washington, and Delbert of Paul, Idaho
Sisters, Betty Greenfield of Gainsville, Texas, and Junellen Chandler of Aloha
15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
McHenry Funeral Home in Corvallis is in charge of arrangements.
