Donald Louis Robin of Bend died March 19, 2006 of natural causes. He was 80.
A celebration of life will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Aspen Ridge Retirement Center in Bend.
Mr. Robin was born March 6, 1926, in Olene to Louis and Letha Robin. He graduated from Oregon State University and served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. He married Hazel Dunphy.
Mr. Robin worked in heavy machinery sales in California, Nevada and Washington. He also co-owned a British car dealership with his brother-in-law and worked as a greenskeeper at Black Butte Ranch. He retired from Bower Machinery Co. He volunteered at St. Charles Medical Center. He enjoyed traveling, golfing and snowmobiling.
His survivors include:
Daughters, Tina Oakley and Stevie Viaene
three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife.
Autumn Funerals of Redmond is in charge of arrangements.
