James Wardell Dessenberger of Bay Point, California, died January 3, 2002 of natural causes. He was 95.
A viewing will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Thursday at Redmond Memorial Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Terrebonne Pioneer Cemetery.
Mr. Dessenberger was born Sept. 26, 1906, in Topeka, Kansas. He married Kathryne Cromwell on June 28, 1927, in Receda, California.
He owned and operated Master Taylor and Dry Cleaner for 31 years. He lived in Central Oregon from 1982 to 1992.
His survivors include:
Sons, John of Concord, California, James of Meyers, Arizona, Terry of Redmond and Thomas of Cupertino, California
Daughter, Jeanne Olson of Bay Point, California
17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his wife.
Redmond Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
