Gordon Thaddus Conner of Redmond died March 13, 2006 of natural causes. He was 70.
Services have been held.
Mr. Conner was born Aug. 21, 1935, in Alex, Oklahoma, to Fred and Sally (Taylor) Conner. He was raised and educated in California. He married Barbara Jones in 1956 and later married Mary Conner in 1991.
Mr. Conner was a lineman for the water district in Modesto, California, for 30 years. He moved to Redmond 15 years ago. He enjoyed woodworking, cooking, yard work, gardening, fishing with his grandson and playing with his grandchildren.
His survivors include:
Sons, Gordon of Hillsboro, Michael Emery of Bend, Robert Emery of Ontario and Steven Emery of Modesto
Daughters, Carrie Wallen of Waterford, California, Nancy Cypert of Hillsboro and Kathleen Emery of Bend
Brothers, Fred of Yuma, Arizona, Robert and Lee, both of Yarrington, Nevada, and Donald of Riverbank, California
Sisters, Debra Davidson of Modesto, Ruth Thompson and Mary Ford, both of Oklahoma City, and Betty Shirill of Waterford
eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by both of his wives, a brother, and two grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Autumn Funerals of Redmond is in charge of arrangements.
