Jack J. Taylor, of Terrebonne, died November 19, 2006 of natural causes. He was 64.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hollinshead Barn in Bend. A reception will follow from 3 to 5 p.m.
Mr. Taylor was born April 11, 1942, in Rifle, Colorado, to Gerald and Laura Taylor. He was educated in Marcola. He married Shirley Endres on March 26, 1966, in Prineville.
Mr. Taylor served in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War. He worked as a skidder operator in the logging industry in the Prineville area. He worked for Bend Mill Works for 23 years.
He was a member of Redmond Nazarene Church. He enjoyed church, reading the Bible, singing worship music, playing guitar, hunting, fishing and fly-tying. He lived in Central Oregon for 40 years.
His survivors include:
Wife, Shirley
Son, John, of Portland
Daughters, Angela Lute, of Bend, and Jackie Sancho, of Redmond
Brothers, Jerry and Robert, both of Springdale, Washington, Vern, of Airway Heights, Washington, Rick, of Addy, Washington, Allen LeFever and George, both of Colville, Washington
Sister, Carrie Hahn, of Spokane, Washington
six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a grandchild.
Autumn Funerals of Redmond is in charge of arrangements.
