Cindy Ann Stone, of Roseburg, died May 9 of breast cancer. She was 52.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Church of the Nazarene in Bend.

Mrs. Stone was born Jan. 23, 1955, in Denver. She attended grade school in California and junior high and high school in Albany. She earned an associate degree from Central Oregon Community College. She married Jerry Stone on May 27, 1985, in Reno, Nev.

Mrs. Stone was a certified medical assistant and also worked in farming and for Stone Investigations. She was affiliated with Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, camping and horseback riding. She lived in Bend for 33 years before moving to Roseburg in 2005.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Joshua, of Salem, and Karl, of Pullman, Wash.; two daughters, Jenny Ostrum, of Redmond, and Kelsey Gaede, of Bend; two brothers, Ray McCann Jr., of Boise, Idaho, and Harold Lawrence, of Wyoming; two sisters, Margaret Peake, of Indianapolis, and Lillian Harder, of Houston; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.
