Clinton A. Palmer of Bend died Friday of natural causes. He was 86.

Viewing will be held from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Niswonger, Reynolds & Tabor Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Knott Road. A burial will follow at the Greenwood Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Palmer was born on Dec. 31, 1913, in Bend.

He married Jacqueleen (Baldwin) Aug. 31, 1941, in Reno, Nev.

Mr. Palmer was a service manager for Bob Thomas car dealership until his retirement in 1980.

He was affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Mr. Palmer enjoyed fixing things and working in his shop. He loved his family, the outdoors, hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife of Bend; one son, Gary of Golden, Colo.; four daughters, Janet Clark of La Grande, Julie Simenson, Carol Billings and Candace Fronk all of Bend; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
 
He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.

Niswonger, Reynolds & Tabor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
