Timothy Lynn Thomas was born in Itazuke A.F.B Japan on the Second of January 1958. Having grown up in an Air Force family, allowed him to live and travel to various parts of the world before his Father retired and the family settled in Bend.

As a naturally talented athlete, he excelled in school sports of Basketball and Football for the Bend High School Lava Bears. His hobbies include: Skiing, Motorcycles, and spending time with his dog Sam.

Tim had many years of service in the Aviation field starting at the Bend Airport, Sunriver Airport then moving onto other various Airlines. He then established his own business in the automotive industry designing computer software.

With his smile and quick whit, he had the special ability to put anyone at ease. In the world around him, he entertained us with his exuberance and enthusiasm from a place of love and caring.

He played an ENORMOUS role in the lives of his family and friends and we absolutely adored him. He will be forever in our hearts and we will miss him dearly.

Tim is survived by his loving parents, Major Lynn, and Lynelle Thomas, his brother Lynn Thomas, JR., and his two nieces Chloe and Ahlee who Tim helped to raise and whom he adored.

Services will be held Thursday, July 9th, at 3:00 pm, at the LDS Church on the Westside, corner of Shevlin Park Road and Mt. Washington roundabout.
