Steaven Jay Beery of Bend died Tuesday of natural causes. He was 56.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Greenwood Cemetery in Bend.

Mr. Beery was born Nov. 23, 1946, in Bend to Leo and Maxine (Kelly) Beery.

He was a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry.  Mr. Beery was affiliated with Eastmont Baptist Church.  He enjoyed reading, hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his parents of Bend; four brothers, Joe of Bend, Michael of Springfield and Larry and John, both of La Pine.
