Muriel Frances Spears of Bend died Dec. 10. She was 91.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. today at Greenwood Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Ms. Spears was born on May 17, 1911, in Wilberforce, Ontario, Canada to Murray and Gertrude (Highcrest) Spears.

She was an accountant for Brooks-Scanlon Lumber for 22 years. She retired in 1973.

Survivors include her sister, Doris Stephans of London, Ontario, Canada.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and two sisters.

Niswonger, Reynolds and Tabor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
