Jacqueleen "Jackie" Eleanor (Baldwin) Palmer of Bend died Saturday of natural causes. She was 84.  A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, High Desert Ward. A graveside service will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Palmer was born Dec. 28, 1921, in Meeteetse, Wyo., to Leonard and Irma Baldwin. She married Clinton Palmer on Aug. 31, 1941, in Portland.

Mrs. Palmer worked as a registered nurse and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Mormon church. She enjoyed gardening, oil painting, genealogy, sewing, camping and spending time with her family.

Survivors include a son, Gary of Golden, Colo.; three daughters, Jan Clark of La Grande and Candi Fronk and Julie Palmer, both of Bend; a brother, Stanley Baldwin of Portland; a sister, Glenda Raulerson of Portland; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, a brother and a sister.

Memorial contributions may be made to Central Oregon Home Health and Hospice.

Niswonger-Reynolds Funeral Home of Bend is in charge of arrangements.
